Fuyooo! Sesiaper yang tak dapat pegi tengok the big show pat Youth Park last Sat akan merasa sedih pasal show tu gerek giler! :o) They say a picture is worth a thousand words and kalau kita tulis banyak banyak pon korang pon malas nak baca kan? hurhurhur.. so ok nah, amik nie gambar banyak bayak... :o)

Anyway, untuk mereka-mereka yang tak pegi, here's a recap of what happened. The whole show started at about 6pm coz petangnyer ujan nad setting up of the stage ader ter-delayed kejap. Tapi biler dah start, wahseeyyyy.. ribot ah.. Orang yang datang pon ramai jugak and the whole place was full of people (semua tu AnakMelayu.com nyer members ke?) First up was a band called "73".. these guys played really good "ska" music! Siap ngan trompet semua! Tiba-tiba out of nowhere, satu group budak pakai smart mamat ngan seluar banjir/stokin putih ala Micheal Jackson pon start joget! Wah pengsi betol ah budak budak nie, brader pat dangdut pon kalah beb kalau chelen gelek!

Lepas tu was a group called "Pakar Irama", not bad jugak, and these guys can rap pretty damn good. In fact diorang nyer style and showmanship ader "lu rilek sua" kinda attitude and diorang nyer lagu gerek beb! Crowd semua tepok tangan and pekik "BAIK AH!". Lepas diorang abis, krew AnakMelayu pon sebok sebok nak interview.. (check out their interview later in the week), after that was Dead Poets, another hip hop group that showcased their own original style and finesse. Next up was "The Marilyns" followed by "Dead Left"..

Ader banyak lagi bands and groups yang ber-gig together gether pat Youth Park that day and one of them was called "Disco Biscuits"... diorang nyer music really mellow and wailing macam Stone Roses or Travis... and actually nie first time krew AnakMelayu nampak diorang main and these guys rock!

Another band that caught our eyes and ears was a band called "Proverbs"... satu band member dia tak abis abis cakap "we are proverb!"...hurhurhur.. buat klakar ehh.. but diorang music best, especially when they played Sting's Shape of My Heart (not backstreet boys ah!! or sugarbabes nyer mix but the original song from Sting!)

After that was Syaheed Bonafide turns to wow the crowd with his voice.. suara macam Usher pon ader and the crowd really liked his moves but as the crowd waited for the main attraction to come out, another crowd favourite punya turn pulak to take the stage. It was none other than Force Vomit! playing their popular song "Siti", they took the stage and greng-grweng their guitars. Power beb! Tiba-tiba, ader dua budak hip hop join.. rupa rupanyer these guys are from "Asianize" and the y collaborated together ngan Force Vomit for a Rap/Rock jam session. Best wa cakap lu..

And last but not least, lepas berjam jam tunggu macam buah tak jatuh, the "Teh Tarik Krew" came on stage! Their music style was fast and furious and they rapped really good too. But these guys were probably influenced by bands like "Asian Dub Foundation" and "Atari Teenage Riot" coz diorang nyer style sebijik macam tu. But unfortunately, they only managed to sing 3 songs coz by that time, dah pukol 11 malam and crowd semua nak balik pasal nak naik last train.. hurhurhur...

So what's the verdict? Hats off to Soundschemers and SgHipHop for organising a gig like no other and they managed to sync different music styles together on one stage!
