Yeah! RETRO!!! Apa tu? Alaaa korang mesti tahu punyer!! Salah satu daripadanya ialah…seluar bell bottom.. Ada hidden meanings and connoctations tau disebalik seluar bell-bottom atau flares ni.Mungkin ramai yang dah lupa.

Believe it or not, flares have been around since the 17th century as a naval uniform. Aah! Korang tahu tak? The huge flare hem of the pants (kat bawah tu ) enabled easy and fast removal of the trousers whenever a sailor went overboard a ship. Practical kan? Cuba bayangkan kalau budak seluar tapered nak salin. Makan berjam tak?

In the 60s and 70s, bellbottoms telah diambil oleh hippies as a symbol of rebellion against mainstream societal and cultural norms. Hence, bellbottoms became part and parcel of an anti-establishment movement. Sua jadi rebel! Hehehhe.. Tapi saying aah! bellbottoms became a victim of fashion merchandizing in the 1970s dan sikap rebellious dia da luput. Tapi sekarang!!! We saw a comeback of bellbottoms but many people associated them with a fad and sad to say that guys have shunned bellbottoms. Sekarang semua orang cakap bellbottoms kental.. Tapi kan, I see bellbottoms as an anti-fashion, anti-establishment symbol!

Akhirkata, we are what we are and we should choose to be what we are. As life is too short, we shouldn't be too concerned with falling into categories which society has created, often instigated by the media. Buat bodo sua! Jadi, kalau korang nak pakai seluar bell, lagi style….Psst! Ada dua budak wicked aura pon pakai seluar bell-bottom tau! Tak caya? Gi nengok aah!
