A fusion of unplugged full acoustic Malay rock concert and theater aiming at inspiring youths to make a difference in their lives. First of its kind! *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

The concept is not new but it is indeed a bold approach by Azrin Rahim, producer and director to piece together artistic director Osman Hamid, Armen Suwandi, music director from Indonesia, Ann Hussein and Playwright Hanim Md Salleh.

The Unwanted with Hanafie Warren, Lovehunters, Nash (Lefthanded) and Zoul will lead the cast of this poignant tale of self-realisation of a typical youth who loves the genre and made it into his own. Malay Rock fans of the 80’s (that would be the abang-abangs and the kakak-kakaks) will surely remember these tunes and rest assured they will enjoy their favourite songs such as: “ Hilang Gelap Timbul Terang” (SWEET CHARITY), “Penyesalan” (UNWANTED), “Ku di Halaman Rindu” (LEFTHANDED), “Srikandi Cintaku” (BLOODSHED)and many more being performed in an unplugged version backed by an orchestra made up of a fourteen piece string section, a pianist, a percussions ensemble, a four piece acoustic session guitar and two- vocal ensemble. Fuuh!! Kalau korang da mula imagine Metallica ngan the symphony Orchestra and Queen…ni mesti da serupa sama.

The concert will be backed with supporting casts from Azrin Abdullah (Axed Ministers), Jaliboy and top Indonesian Acapella group – Jamaica Café, so, sekarang, siapa yang dah bekerja, kumpul duit & siapa yang masih bersekolah.. kumpul duit jajan… kalau na buat the ideal date, apa lagi? Kumpul duit (errr bayar dutch aah…dinner si cik abang handle amacam? hehehe)
