Meh sini tengok interview kami bersama Sound Salvation!

Fusing deep pulsating groove with soulful rock tunes, local singer songwriter Andry Kamsani, Azhar Yusof (guitars), Juana Bajuri (bass) and Khuzairi Supari (drums), collectively known as Sound Salvation had teamed up with AnakMelayu.com, Singapore's premier Malay community portal to release their latest single, entitled Lagu Cinta Satu exclusively via online at www.anakmelayu.com on 15 Jun 2006.
Mp3 "Lagu Cinta Satu" is now available! Grab it while stocks last! Kalau dah habis kene tunggu next peh shipment, manyak lambat woo.. Formerly known as Tragedy 253, the band surfaced in the mid-nineties predominantly in English to win the coveted Yamaha Music Quest ( Singapore / Asia Oceania) – an international pop and rock showcase that features artistes such as Sally Yeh, Stevie Salas, Ada Band and Chage & Aska. A few years later, Sound Salvation found solace in their ethnicity to independently release a 5-track EP, entitled Gerehem. Targeted towards Malay listeners, the EP received encouraging reviews in Singapore and Malaysia but failed to capture the mass audience. Some observers concluded that the market was not ready for them while others blamed it on poor marketing and distribution. |
Most notable for their gripping ‘live' performances, Sound Salvation spent most of their time behind the scene perfecting their craft before embarking on a recent business venture, Greendoor Studios, a new and expanding digital audio recording facility that aims to attract, develop and support the evolution of contemporary music. Acting as their creative director, Andry, 34, said, “Greendoor Studios was set up to author our work as well as other musically gifted group or individuals – contributing towards a vibrant local music industry”.
Spearheading the string of projects lined up by Greendoor Studios, Sound Salvation will commemorate the release of their single by performing at the Singapore Street Festival 2006,
on 15 June, 7pm at Plaza Singapura. Admission is free. For further information,
