Dah bertahun-tahun I cuba try to figure this thing out, but I've finally discovered 8 great ways to surprise your beloved boyfre/gerlfren/hubby/wifey of yours!

1 Kidnap him from work! Hehehhehe. My hubby was attending sekolah malam part-time and worked full-time. SO I rarely got to see him. So one fine day, I decided to kidnap kawan tu from work. So I called up his boss and sweet-talked into giving my hubby the rest of the afternoon off, and paling kelakar ialah the surprise on his face when I announced his boss had given him the rest of the day off! Priceless! Hehehe Anyway, If your budget's limited, plan a low-cost outing: Go to a romantic movie or pack a picnic lunch.

2 Hand him cash to spend that he didn't earn. Haa, yang ni confirm dia sayang ngan u extra-extra one. Hehehe.. I once gave my hubby a $200 voucher to his favorite Homefix D.I.Y store. I pon tak tahu kenapa ler kawan tu mesti singgah that D.I.Y store everytime we pass by one. It's a guy thing I guess. Anyway, member tu tros shoot keluar and guess what he bought?! He bought a brand new set of toilet accessories! Hehehhe.. Actually daripada dulu dia memang nak "upgrade" our toilet accessories, but had put off that purchase in favor of our family's needs. When I saw his delight after he finished drilling and fixing up the new mirrors, soap holder, toothbrush holder, I realized how many of his sacrifices went unnoticed and that's when I really know how much he loves me! :)

3 Send him to a man's retreat. i.e A round of paintball with his best buddies. :o)

4 Surprise him with a sparkling clean car/bike. Tak payah ler cuci sendiri, just pay yer friendly neighbourhood car washer to give your husband's ride the extra cleaning and shine Don't worry, he'll be thrilled and relieved. Getting into a clean car to go to work is always better than putting up with a filthy one!

5 Give him a day alone to do what he wants. Like most men, my hubby tends to pursue his hobbies alone. He loves to tinker with his computers, disappear for a morning to fish, or lie prone on the couch for hours watching football. But those times are few and far between, because each Saturday I present him with a "you'd better do this or I won't sleep with you" list of stuff. hehehe...

6 Save up for that expensive gift he wants. Well, my husband longs for some brand new PDA-Phone and I can't wait to see the look in his eyes when I eventually buy it for him!

7 Let him plan an evening out, tapi you yang bayar! Admit it, we women do the planning when it comes to a night on the town. We want the nice dinner followed by a romantic play or movie. My hubby has always gracefully followed my whims, so I decided that one of the nights would be his, but it's on me!. So what if we ate at an all-you-could-eat barbecue, then lepas tu gie changi tengok bapoks? Hehehe.. He enjoyed himself and I enjoyed watching him make fun of all the guys trying to chat up with the bapoks... :o)

8 Surprise him with an evening in. (Nie untuk Married Couples jer Tau!) Cook his favourite meal, and while he's enjoying his dinner, put on some make-up, nice lingerie, and give him a massage after he's done with his dinner. Lepas tu main kejar-kejar! Heheheh.. Hmmm.. I Liiookkkeeee! Heheheh

Anyway, ada macam macam cara you all bole surprise kan you hubby or boyfren coz the guy you married is your friend, your lover, your provider, your partner in parenting and in life and the enjoy all of what God's given you both. The time you spend planning any event in his honor is well worth the effort. And who knows? Maybe he'll get the hint that you want him to surprise you too!
