A funky radio concept with experimental Asian-inspired sounds of Malay Gendang, Indian Tavil and Chinese Erhu celebrates ethnic tunes in their music. This fictional radio ideology will run non-stop throughout the songs with the objective to educate the public and media the versatility of hip hop which transpire across genres. This includes news, station Ids, commercials, radio segments and capsule programs, making this release appealing and entertaining to any gender, race or age group. The album, a testimony to hip hop music can integrate with other forms of music being the Noizy Formula from their debut to this second album.

In short, Noizy FM aims to be the true sound of the Cosmopolitan Asian.

TripleNoize is synonymous to hip-hop at its best in Singapore. With the success of their first album, this group winner of Singapore Talentime 2002, is the best product of raw talent if ever creativity and ingenuity comes this way. Releasing their second album in December 2004, TN is expecting to blow this city-state by storm with their unique and sizzling brand of hip-hop meets-alternative pop. TN produces, composes and also conceptualizes its materials.

AM: So guys, how has life change for you before & after your Talentime winning few years back?

TN: Erm.. before the Talentime, we were basically normal people, busy wif our daily jobs & ns. Pada masa tu music has been a passion for us. Triple Noize acherly was created before the Talentime...

AM: Kirakan underground lah tuu..

TN: Yes, dats correct.. Lepas Talentime tu, kiter nyer life still normal jugak - still do the things dat we do before.. Tapi skarang the difference is dat, now we do music as part of a serious thing.. We gotta be careful wif things we say, do.. Smile ader lebih sikit.. We are more cautious lah coz even small things for us may be nothing but when other people see, it can be a serious thing..

AM: Kan you all cakap you started doing underground beats, naper tanak lanjutkan being a dj? Why choose rapping?

TN: Memang kiter suka mixing beats & dj-ing tapi we are more influenced to rapping.. There's more love there..

AM: heheheh.. love eh?

AM: So have you guys thought of moving out of S'pore ke seberang tambak?

TN: No, coz our family all here... hahahahahahh... takdelah, acherly, time doesnt agree wif us lah.. To move away, firstly kiter mesti ader a pool of followers.. Then we have to part wif our day job here coz gotta be mentally prepared dat it will be full-time thing there..

AM: So kirakan kinda risky lah..

TN: Yah, you gotta have dat extra confidence to move away..

AM: Now, where you get your inspirations from?

TN: Oh, we hear all different kinds of music sources - kiter dgr classical, rock, traditional..macam ekamatra, alleycats (terima kasih!)... So before we start composing a song, kiter dgr all the different beats to decide...

TN: Oh, kiter nyer songs are majority in english - nak mengukuhkan english group katakan but for the 2nd album ader special release for the malay community.. pasal ader song kiter nak remake to malay..

AM: Kenapa you decide to do dat?

TN: Ah, dats because 80% of the hip hop supporters are from the malay community!! Also, got one time kiter ader perform kat somewhere in Geylang then most of the makcik2 there got excited lah! They are soo supporting & that minute we know that they are acherly genuine supporters...

AM: Bistu, wat bout your new album?

TN: Well, it sure does sounds better! hehehehh... Basically, it's a 1-yr project.. The 1st album we came out wif, frankly speaking it's too personal coz there's a lot of anger & emotions in our lyrics.. It's suppose to come out wif a 'bang' lah.. But, this 2nd album is more perspective, meaning ader objective lah.. Main objective is the content of the album pasal we make it like a radio station.. Ader theme for every song - ader song we talk bout the values of childhood (80s era) macam rumah dayak, chocolate tora, ader pasal reality check - ponder song lah (what if)..

AM: Local music industry in S'pore not dat supportive, so wat motivates you to carry on rapping & buat 2nd album?

TN: We wanna create a position in the map - meaning wanna breakaway from all the donts & to carry on doing the dos.. We wanna be known as the rap group that carries that never die spirit wif quality!!! (chedelah..)

AM: Ah, nie ader soalan bonus - What can Triple Noize do to make local songs more appreciated here?

TN: hahhahahh.. aah, dats a good question.. hhmmmm, makes us think... hhmm... Ok, we guess making more of catchy & creative music to target the audience.. Macam party songs - something dat listeners can relate themselves to... Like the song 'Sway' we did during the Talentime...

AM: You all ader think of having a song dat you guys need to sing all the way.. takde rap cumer vocal song jer... wat say u?

TN: Ooohh.. hahahah.. agaknyer kiter kene go vocal training lah camtu but its a good idea.. We can give it a thought for future use...

AM: Triple Noize biggest dream?

TN: A radio station! Dats why we make our 2nd album macam radio station gitu - hoping dat it will become a reality one day.. This will be a dream come true.. Next big dream is to be on MTV nomination.. We ever submit before but didn't win to the point of nominated..

AM: Will we see the same Triple Noize in 5-10 yrs time?

TN: hehehe.. well, we will still be Triple Noize but no more in the performance part, we guess.. Maybe in the productions or recording label.. It's easy to build but to survive tu is the challenge...
